The iPet Network Ofqual Level 3 Diploma is designed for students wishing to gain the skills and knowledge to prepare, design and complete a range of dog breeds, understand the environmental health and safety of dog pet grooming work, practice business management and acquire canine first aid skills. In 40 lessons, students will train at least 20 dogs, including at least 10 different breeds, covering 6 different coat qualities. There are no prerequisites for admission to this diploma, which means that students do not need to complete lower level (Level 1 or Level 2) courses first, which can save students a lot of cost and time.

The iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management will demonstrate to employers or the public that trainees have the technical skills and knowledge required to successfully groom a range of dog breeds. This is a formal, regulated, nationally recognized qualification that will remain relevant throughout a trainee's career and can only be achieved by achieving the required skill level. It is designed for those who wish to become professional dog groomers or who already groom dogs (either as a hobby or as a profession) but do not currently hold a nationally recognized qualification.
